About the FORD MUSTANG
The Ford Mustang is a ponycar manufactured since 1964. The first generation Mustang was manufactured until 1973 as a 2-door convertible, hardtop, or fastback. It was powered by a variety of inline-6 and V8 engines and came with a 2 or 3-speed automatic or 3 or 4-speed manual transmission. The second generation Mustang was manufactured until 1978. This generation came with a 2.3 liter inline-4, 2.8 liter V6, or 4.9 liter V8 and was offered as a 2-door coupe or a 3-door hatchback. The third generation Mustang ? until 1983 ? was powered by a variety of engines including inline-4, inline-6, V6, and V8. It was offered as a 2-door convertible, 2-door coupe, and 3-door hatchback. The fourth and fifth generations of the Mustang ? until 2004 and 2005 to the present ? were both offered as 2-door coupes or convertibles. They used a variety of V6 and V8 engines.
