The first generation Caprice was manufactured until 1970 as a 2-door coupe, a 4-door sedan, or a 4-door station wagon. This generation, like the generations to follow was powered by various sizes of V8 engines. During the first generation, the Caprice was upgraded with new lights, grille, and body lines.
